Toss A Pancake

 As maybe most of you guys have already known, Pancious Pancake House offers pancakes as their entree, both sweet and savoury. I do mad in love both of them in waffle. I generally prefer waffles to pancake. They also have pasta, steaks, burgers, and so on. Nevertheless I still prefer to having their fettucini. Once is never enough, I take about 3-4 times a month to swoop down to Pancious Pancake House because of my fettucini and waffle madness.

I always have a hard time choosing what to have. Not because they have a wide selection of flavors, but because I've already ordered all of the flavors that I like the most. Therefore, I’d like to provide Pancious Pancake House’s recommended dishes review.

//Pasta//

 Hot Tuna Spaghetti

One of their pasta which always whetted my appetite is  Hot Tuna pasta. It's stir fried pasta with tuna chucks, some chilli, onion, tomato, and parsley in a very simple presentation, yet smelled really delicious and spicy. Tuna chucks and chilli are generously given. Nonetheless, it is top notch! I wouldn't mind having this as often as I could.

Parmesan, Chilli Powder

The thing that really thrilled me about Pancious Pancake House is a little glass jar of parmesan and chilli powder. I literally wrapped every strand of my pasta with parmesan, chilli powder, and chilli sauce. I even open the jar and pour them to make my pasta even much better.

BBQ Chicken Pancake

BBQ Chicken is on their featured savoury Pancake. The pancake itself is fluffy and smells really good. It's warm, so it works really well with the chicken ,onion, bbq sauce (tastes like curry), cheese sauce, and mozzarella glaze. I just can’t resist it and totally in love with BBQ Chicken in waffle since the first time I tasted it.

Salmon&Leek

Topping over Salmon and Leek pancakes or waffles contains fairly thick slices of grilled salmon, with melted mozzarella and cheese leek fondue (cheese cooked with herbs and foliage). Flavored pancakes or waffles are a sweet little 'accent' of the delicious topping.

Tuna Mayonnaise

That yummy meal contains Tuna Mayonnaise, corn, cheese sauce, and mozzarella cheese. How cheesy it is!

Green Tea Red Bean

Green Tea Red Bean is their latest menu. It comes with a one scoop homemade ice cream. Super scrumptious!! That's how I describe it. The green tea jam tastes out of the ordinary, it tastes so….green tea. It sweetened by a handful of Red Bean. I could not say much when I tried it for the very first time latterly. It just tastes too splendid. Anyway I'm a big fan of green tea.

Nutty Nutella

In addition to a sprinkling of almonds, also feel pleasure vanilla ice cream and thick chocolate nutella. Here comes Nutty Nutella pancake as another latest menu. This menu comes together with Choco Baileys.

Choco Baileys

Those have a little similar chocolate flavor. Nutty Nutella comes with Nutella jam + almond, while Choco Baileys comes with choco jam + Baileys syrup + almonds.  They got punch of chocolate flavor. I found them not to be overly sweet. The almonds add a welcome crunch.

I always glance at the menu that displays the word “caramel” in it. Somehow, I do like a sweet tastes offered by caramel syrup. That’s why I like this Caramelized Banana. It simply offers you a scoop of ice cream, caramel-coated bananas, and caramel syrup. Like it!

//Mille Crepe//

Apple Crumble

Does anyone know about Mille Crepe? It is a thousand layer cake which separated by cream between each layer. I chose Apple Crumble as the topping of my Mille Crepe. Soft apple pieces are coated by caramel syrup and stacked by crusty bread crumbles. A perfect blend, doesn’t it?

White Strawberry Milk

This is what I recommend you the most! It’s like having vanilla milk, cream and strawberry yoghurt together. Fairly concentrated sweetness, tastes creamy, plus strawberry fruit pieces sour taste. I always have White Strawberry Milk for my drink, nothing else. Extremely worth a try!

Make Time For

I spent this weekend staying at my old home because I was required to come to Tarumanegara University on Saturday afternoon to do some modelling rehearsal. There are always two things I like the most when I spend my spare time in the old home. The first thing is I meet my super beloved great-grandmother and the second thing is I meet my coquettish chums. So I planned a small clambake for me and the girls.

Bobba House caught my attention since a lot of friend's check-in status lately. So it sounds perfect to try something new. I was quite surprised for it is such a cozy place. It has a greenish decor and very spacious, so it suitable for a leisure time.

They provide quite a lot of selections of bubble drink, appetizer, and western food. I picked Red Bean Green Milk Tea, Robin picked Creme Brulee, Fenfen picked Rose Milk Tea, and Aurel picked Mango Tea. Overall those did not disappoint me, but also not very satisfactory. My Green Milk Tea tastes pretty good, but it has a super small red beans. While Robin's Creme Brulee has a very strong coffee flavor.

May Day

Here comes my hello for the first sunlight of May.

Honestly, my May's first day was not going really well. Two classes had been cancelled today. The whole story is about we all had already been in the classroom 'till finally the lecturer informed one of us via BBM that he could not come because there was a trade demo, as we called it as May Day. That's not just happen once a lifetime, but almost a lifetime. Well, that's what I called end in smoke. What a life!

Saturday has always been the most appropriate day to relax. I decided to go to Central Park Mall after having another hustle bustle modeling school yesterday. Anyway as time goes by, Robin and I finally stepped on 15th monthversary. So here’s our little celebration.

We both can easily agree each other on which restaurant we were going to go, because we actually have the same appetite. We decided to go to Pizza e Birra to have an anniversary dinner. I think Pizza e Birra is one of the local pizza restaurant which has a godspeed because of their own unique branding. Why I say so? Because usually most of them cannot survive competing with other international franchised pizza restaurants, let’s say Pizza Hut and Domino’s Pizza. For a local restaurant, they have already had such a good concept.

Pizza e Birra which is located at Central Park Mall is combined with Kitchenette, and was divided into outdoor and indoor. It is located in the middle of Tribeca Park. Its uniqueness is the location that is be hemmed in by Tribeca’s fish ponds which makes us have to go through a small bridge to get there. The first impression in my mind is the place is pretty classy. 

I got myself a party bucket of El Diablo as the appetizer. It is a deep-brown fried chicken wing, served with hot sauce. It just tastes really nice!

For the main course, I had an everyone’s favorite pizza, Meat Me in Heaven Pizza. It comes with a large round of pizza topped with tons of several kind of meat and paprika plus mozzarella cheese. It tastes spicy enough. If you can’t really digest spicy food ask for the less spicy one. But in my personal opinion, those made me can not stop munching. But I'm so sorry, they have unsatisfactory service. My pizza came more than half an hour.

Meat Me in Heaven - IDR 69.000 (small) 

Their creative twist to the pizza toppings means they have certainly got something for everyone with and without a sweet tooth. I chose Black-Eyed Pears for the dessert and I totally love it. The pizza dough is really different, firmer than the savoury pizza. The pizza goes greatly well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream which makes it creamy, rich and smooth on the inside and crunchy on the crust. What a super dessert. Me want more.

I have no any idea since when I was addicted to green tea beverage. I always order for any kind of hot, cold, latte, cream, frappe, or whatever green tea almost everytime I go to café/restaurant. This time, I had the “blablabla green tea milkshake” for my beverage. I must say that is one of the best green tea beverage ever! It tastes as palatable as Starbucks’ and Sushi Tei’s. Glad I did not miss it. It is deliberately created for you, the connoisseurs of green tea.
